It is designed for lighter tasks and smaller operations, providing a more compact solution for those who do not require the wider range and heavier build of the Joker MT. It stands out for its robust construction and easy handling. Its range of applications includes initial shallow stubble cultivation at depths of 2'' to 3'', seedbed preparation with a high proportion of fine soil, and the incorporation of organic fertilizers such as manure, slurry, or green manure. It is also well-suited for breaking up and chopping cover crops. With a wide selection of packer options, optimal soil reconsolidation can be achieved for all conditions. This is particularly important for stubble cultivation and seedbed preparation. Thanks to its high clearance, achieved by the arrangement of two discs on one arm, the Joker CT is also excellent for incorporating long crop residues. With very high working speeds of up to 12 mph, it offers high acreage performance with low draft requirements. As with any disc harrow, the quality of work with the Joker improves with increased working speed. Due to the aggressive angle of the discs with a serrated profile, the Joker has excellent penetration into the soil. If there are still issues with soil penetration, it is possible to equip the machine with additional weights to improve entry. In summary, the HORSCH Joker is a compact disc harrow that is perfect for shallow tillage, stubble cultivation, incorporating organic matter, or seedbed preparation. BASIC FEATURES RINGFLEX PACKER • High contact area due to 2.7'' wide ring elements • Additionally mixes in organic material • Can be converted to a winter packer • Weight per m working width: 265 lbs The RingFlex packer impresses due to its excellent load-carrying capacity on light and medium soils. Moreover, it guarantees a good consolidation. Depending on the conditions, it can also be used as a winter packer by removing individual rings.
