TOTAL OF SIX SILOS- Each silo holds 4000 cubic feet of material. And there are 6 silos so total of 24000 cubic ft. They are designed for frac sand which is very dense a cubic foot would weigh more than just about any other material. A pneumatic trailer hauls 50,000 lbs which is around 750 cubic ft. The silos will hold 5 trucks each.
The system in the silos is for dust control. The pneumatic system is on the trucks. They blow the sand up tubes on the side into the silos. The trucks back up and hook a hose to pipes that come down true outside of silos and blower pushes the sand up the pipe into top of silos. It takes 20-25 minutes for each truck to unload 50 thousand pounds of sand. You can unload trucks into all silos at the same time if they can reach them.
On hauling…You will need 7 power only trucks and 2 flatbeds. The silos and better all legal loads. The bases are 10’ wide and 40’ long. I will have to get my friend with a pole truck to load the bases on flatbeds.
